Milind Godbole
Milind Godbole is the Senior Trade & Investment Adviser at the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), British Deputy High Commission, Ahmedabad. With over 35 years of professional experience, he has guided numerous UK companies in entering the Indian market and securing major export contracts across diverse sectors.
Appointed in 1999 to lead the British Trade Office in Ahmedabad, Mr. Godbole has played a vital role in strengthening UK–India trade ties, particularly across Gujarat and Rajasthan. Prior to this, he worked with several Fortune 500 multinational companies including Hoechst (Germany), AMOCO (USA), W. R. Grace, DOW Chemicals, Condea Chemie (Germany), and Mitsui Ltd (Japan), gaining hands-on experience in both technical operations and international business.

Widely traveled across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, Mr. Godbole combines global perspective with deep local knowledge. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, and continues to be a trusted advisor to UK businesses exploring opportunities in India.
